      COMMENTS:

I bought these for hiking on rough trails with my dog. I'm not-quite 60 yrs old, and nowhere near 20. These leggings offer a lot of comfort and a cushy knee buffer when I'm scrambling over a log. Serendipitous bonus: built-in, knee-saving knee pads for getting down on all fours to clean the floors properly.

      COMMENTS:

I like the slim fit, reasonable length (just around my ankles - I'm just under 5'5), the color (Black is great for getting dirty) and the four pockets are a decent depth – I can get my hand in up to my wrist and I have big hands. You can actually use these pockets. The positioning of the front pocket takes a little getting used to though as they are more to the side than to the front. I keep searching for them under my shirt but I'll adapt. The built-in knee pads are flexible and more comfortable than the slip-in ones I use with my heirloom gardening pants. I can sit for a while in these; it's more uncomfortable with the Heirlooms w/pads in. The key to these pants is getting the size that will position the knee pads in the right place, so that when you bend down, your knee is in the middle of the pad, so the top of knee/or the area above the knee, is also protected by the pad. I never know what size in a DT item is going to fit, so I started with an XL, tried on a large (what I often can wear in a legging) & ended up in a medium to get the pads to fall where I wanted. I'm not a medium in anything. So here's my one con, which *is* annoying: The waistband – which is comfy – keeps inching down, and I mean down, to the top of my thighs if I don't keep on top of the slide! I don't know if it is because it's a medium, or that I have a muffin top or if it's the thick, compressing material of these pants - you know how you sometimes have to keep pulling up exercise leggings? – But my first full day of wearing them had me hitching my pants up constantly. Not what I want to do wearing dirty, damp gloves. Nor do I want to have to rip the gloves off constantly to keep yanking up my pants.
So love the concept, and much of the design. But the waist thing is an issue, and could be a repeat buy breaker for me, because I could see owning several pair of these. Be interesting to see if this becomes more or less of an issue over time, through multiple wearings. Hoping less.

        COMMENTS:

these leggings are legendary. I do a lot of outdoorsy and intensive hobbies (I.e. hiking, aforementioned LARP, etc) which require good, sturdy clothes with good pockets and stuff like that. I also like comfy clothes because who doesn't. These are so perfect— they have good pockets, fit very well/cozy, and the knee pads are an added bonus for physical activity, comfort when wearing leg/body gear, and more. I am so glad I own these pants

        COMMENTS:

I did not buy these. BUT I did try these and the reinforced leggings on. This is a fabulous idea. DT is so smart. If I thought I could have altered these,I would have bought them. Hurry to the stores if you over 5ft 6in.These are not made for short women,of course the pads or reinforcement is not in the right place. Also they are super shiny. I am sure that's because of the spandex. It makes them tough and comfortable but not very attractive.

          COMMENTS:

In addition to working from my home, I am part of an animal rescue non-profit and spend several hours evety day outdoors, in barns, crawling into/out of spaces never designed for humans:). My legs are constantly beat up (see photo) with painful brusing and abrasions. The knee pads in these Duluth Noga Tights are the perfect solution! Love love love them!
