      COMMENTS:

Clearly a lot of thought and design went in to these overalls. They are sturdy material; there are zillions of pockets; they are a great fit on my small curvy frame. The kneepad pockets are great and were a big seller to me. I've been pleasantly surprised to keep finding new thoughtful features, like bonus zipper pockets tucked into corners, or two sets of buttons at the hip so you can choose a slimmer or looser fit (I imagine it would be helpful for people of different builds, and also super helpful for wearing a bulky jacket underneath). I'm a young 5'2" vegetable farmer that needs durable protective clothing but also wants to look cute in my workwear. This is my sixth pair of work overalls of different styles and brands in 6 years and they beat the pants (no pun intented) off all the Carhartt options in terms of material thickness, utility and flattering design. I appreciate that they are slim and flattering but not at all cutesy - made for working women for sure.

These seem to be a next generation of an earlier Duluth black firehose overalls, made of a slightly different material and a few pocket modifications. Those original black firehose overalls were my all-time favorite workclothes (so slick! so attractive!) which I am still hoping will come back. So my only feedback: please make these in black, and please slim the leg cut a little bit - its a lot of material to swish around at my ankles.

      Thanks Duluth!

      COMMENTS:

I loved so much about these overalls. I've needed some functional overalls for gardening and farm chores, and was ecstatic to find these. They are made out of that comfortable and functional Duluth Flex material that moves with you, and they have exactly the pockets a working woman needs. The problem with them is that, though the design is so perfect, everything is scaled for the tall woman. Those thoughtful tucks around the knees to allow bending and flexing hit me in the shins. The pockets that should be easy to reach are far too low for the short woman. Because of the design, alteration is complex and much of the thoughtful design advantages are lost in the process. Please, please make these in all sizes XS-2XL to fit the petite working woman. With spring here, I would buy several of them in a heartbeat.

      COMMENTS:

Received these yesterday and was so very, very disappointed. I first purchased these overalls in 2012, and they were fantastic. They were getting a bit ragged so thought I would replace them. The current ones are definitely not as good. The top section balloons on me - but maybe that's to make room for a thick shirt? The worst part was the elastic in the straps. I couldn't tighten the straps enough to keep the top section as high as I would have liked. Bring the all-fabric straps back, please. All in all, they'll do - but I really don'y like wearing them at all.

Durable Work Pants; Wish There Was More Room in Legs/Hips

      COMMENTS:

After ruining so many clothes, I purchased these overalls to work on the many, many house renovation projects that I have going on. While I haven't owned them long, they seem to be durable and functional. I like that they are a bit heavier duty, but also have some stretch to them. The length is a bit long for me (about 3-4 inches), but I'm not quite 5'4" and have short legs even for my height, so this likely wouldn't be an issue for someone who is taller. Love all the pockets for tool storage! They are mildly unflattering, I've found, but I also don't really mind as they're for working. My wish for these is that there was more room from the high hip through the calves. I am pear shaped, but have thick legs and would just like to have more wiggle room. Overall, I would recommend the overalls.

      Why so short?? :/

      COMMENTS:

Disclaimer: I haven't actually purchased these yet but - I have some new found "handy-girl" passions, and have been looking far & wide for comfortable, quality, and flattering overalls. (Yes flattering! We can get dirty and work hard but be cute too!) I want overalls made to "work" like men's overalls, but that aren't shaped like box. This is the FIRST time I have ever been on Duluth website (sorry!). I love the commercials - crack me up. But had a different idea in my head of what Duluth was all about, and figured it to be mostly for men. I knew about the no yank tank, but that was it! So I was pleasantly surprised to find so much women-wear! Duluth - I had no idea you ALSO had such thoughtful, purposeful, well-made, intentionally comfort-driven products for women as well!! Heads up to your marketing people...get going on some great memorable commercials for women, and watch your bottom line climb! When I scrolled through your products and read details, I found myself gasping, thinking and feeling "YES!," and "That's a BRILLIANT idea!" and "I NEED that!" I mean the underarm gussets alone make me wanna do jumping jacks and yodel (if only I could yodel). The thought that's been put into your products, is above and beyond. I imagine in my mind you have this great focus group, going about all the great things women do, in their normal daily garb - but specifically noting everything that bugged them throughout every possible activity - everything that pinched, bound, chaffed, restricted, got hot, sweaty, and stunk!! I want one of everything lol! If the claims prove true, I will be a friend for life.
SOOO....here's my only issue and concern thus far. I want these overalls (amongst a couple others). But I am 5'11" - and these only come in a 31" inseam?? Am I just catching you on a bad day? Low in stock?? I was SO pleased to find other items in longer inseams, but these are my faves! But alas, I cannot rock highwater overalls. 34"-35" prettyPLEASE?...with sawdust on top?
