    COMMENTS:

Bought this for my wife in 2XL, which is her usual size. When she tried it on, she was very disappointed. She said that maybe a4XL would have fit. She really liked the coat but was really disappointed that there wasn't a size large enough.

      COMMENTS:

I was looking for a light weight down jacket that would pack small for hiking/stuffing in a backpack. I tried the Patagonia down shirt and it was the perfect weight, but the fit was all wrong. I called Duluth and I am so glad I did! The sales rep. was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Now, on to the jacket... the fit was PERFECT without looking like the Michelin Man, beautiful blue color and there were so many extras that I was not expecting... two hanging loops, zippered pockets, an inside zippered chest pocket, a drawcord at the lower edge and to top it all off, it was a lower hip length which was exactly what I wanted. I rolled the jacket and stuffed it in my backpack and it came out looking perfect. Oh, and did I mention that water rolled right off of it? I'm pretty sure, I will not miss it not being down filled. There are a couple of things I think would improve the jacket, however. Since the length is lower hip, a two way zipper would make sitting easier. Also, a zipper "garage" to keep the zipper from rubbing your chin when it is zipped all the way up. Another thing I like is that the collar was not so tall that it covered half my head. For reference, I am 68 years old and not so slim around the waist any longer, 5' 5", 140 lbs, bust is 38", hips 38". The medium was a perfect fit with room enough for a long sleeve T-shirt and a light fleece jacket under it. If I lived in a cooler climate, I would probably by another color. Thank you, Duluth for what I think is going to be my go to jacket.

        COMMENTS:

Never have I been disappointed by any purchase made from Duluth. I avoided puffer coats because of the way they fit: too narrow on top, too large on the bottom, linebacker appearance if you were slightly busty. Considering my prior purchases, and the quality of their products, I decided to buy this coat. I love the fit, the weight and the ability to adjust the tightness of the bottom hem. I have ample room (but not too much) in all areas: shoulders, bust, waist and hip. Thank you for a great jacket!

          COMMENTS:

I was pleasantly surprised that this jacket was a little bit heavier weight than I thought it would be. It keeps me warm while I am out walking the furry kids. Yesterday it was in the low 20's & I did not need a layer underneath. I like the inside pocket, collar big enough to zip up & block wind & the zipper pulls on the pockets are very handy. I am 5'4" about 114 & ordered the small; it is a tiny bit big but I like it.

I'm not a uniform size. I adjusted the jacket to fit well.

            COMMENTS:

I am shaped like an upside down pyramid so fit is usually a problem, but not with this jacket. I bought an xl which fit well on top. Rolled up the sleeves a bit and cinched the drawcord on the bottom slightly. This evened out the "upside down pyramid" look. I love the length; it covers your butt and makes it look dressier. Love the color, Sangria and the light weight and warmth. I'm going to use this as my everyday, "winter into spring, fall into winter" coat. ( I bought the Duluth 800 fill power jacket (which I love also) for really cold winter. )
