Women's Flex Fire Hose Vest

I purchased two vests from Duluth because they were on sale, and while I like both vests, this is hands down my favorite. I love the variety of pockets on this vest as well as the back snaps at the waist. It really makes the vest flattering coming AND going. I work in a country where I have to wear national dress on village projects. The national dress is basically a long pocketless dress with pants. Backpacks and purses just get in the way and I never have anywhere to store my phone, notepad, pencils, tape, camera, etc. Now I do in a flattering vest! I travelled back to Tajikistan with it and it was also great in the airport and on the plane storing all sorts of things one needs after you have stowed away your carry on. The fabric is very durable, but could be worn anywhere. I sure hope that Duluth continues to make this vest because I would love to purchase more colors in this style in the future!

I bought this for traveling abroad. It had many pockets (inside and out) to secure documents and cash, as well as all items I used throughout the day. Loved it so much! I wore it most days to keep me organized. I would like to buy another one to use more for working around garden and not be concerned with beating it up. It is so incredibly durable, however. It will never wear out!! Best value for sure. I almost sent it back because I thought the armholes were too big. But I wore for a day around the house and found that really added to its versatility. I can wear a sweater under it and that's great. The verticle slit pockets are not too secure. i would put my sunglasses in them, and if i bent over, they would easily fall out. so i stuck my tissues inthere instead. You guys make the best products. You have my complete confidence.

Really, really loved this vest. I was heartbroken when the Zipper broke off first time I washed it in front load machine. Returned and reordered, but later told size S no longer available. Wished I had known- would have kept vest and paid seamstress to repair!

I own this vest in blue and black... even bought one for my sister! I love it! Bottom pockets with "drain holes" hold my horse cookies and let the crumbs fall out... there's pockets for everything: gloves, kleenex, cell phone, and anything else you might wish to carry. This is a wonderful product for both extra warmth under a jacket, or just for core warmth when it's cool or windy. Wish I had ordered ALL the colors! I also have the Firehose jackets. Love them too!

I am a 12 to 14 in most shirts and jackets (40" bust) and the large fit perfectly. Though I am shortwaisted and usually wear petites in tops, the back waist tabs are positioned fine. Cut is flattering -- I don't look like I stole Grandpa's fishing vest. Great fabric, soft feeling and stretchy but obviously really tough. I sew a lot myself and the quality of the design and stitching of this vest is top notch. There are 9 pockets (took me a while to find all of them) and this will prove to be a perfect vest for airline travel. Tickets, boarding passes and passport will all fit securely in the slide in front pockets (which have hidden zip compartments) for easy access when juggling carry-on bags. The dual slider zipper means that it is not riding up as I sit (I am wearing it at my desk as I type this.) It is keeping me warm in my freezing cold office without binding on my arms while I work like a jacket would. I have been looking for something like this for years and a'm going to get a lot of use out of this vest.

This was one of a number of DTCo items that were just perfect for my Ireland horse trekking in May. I purchased the black for that trip and just bought the dark coral for riding here in the fall/winter. I had enough individual pockets for hankies, camera, protein bars, small H20 bottle and riding gloves - all immediately accessible. The two-way zipper was handy beyond words. The vest washed up nicely and I expect to have both vests for years to come!

This vest goes just about anywhere. I wear it working in the garden, when traveling or shopping to use the pockets and avoid carrying a purse or to carry a lens or two when going out to shoot nature photos.

This vest fits great and is stylish too. The coral color adds a feminine touch.

The color is great. Got the coral. Goes with jeans, a long skirt, turtle neck sweaters...
It's a caually elegant vest to wear for a lot of occaisions.
