I wear this all the time in our long, cold, wet season. Great coverage, plenty of room, warm pockets, easy zippers, and a well designed hood make this the first jacket I reach for. It's lightweight yet quite warm, rain and wind resistant. Looks good and wears like iron. After I gave one to my husband for his birthday, I kept borrowing it -- just had to get one for myself.

Bought this on impulse and am happy I did. I use it for errands and outside yard work. I love the color -- a pretty deep-lavender. I wore it in a short, suprise downpour and stayed dry but I am not sure if it would work in a prolonged rain. Although I live in the Los Angeles area it does get chilly at night (low 30s) and gets get windy and damp during some winter days -- thus a good jacket is needed. I just wish the sleeves were a bit longer and the storm flap inside the zipper was a tad wider. Overall though, a superb jacket.

This is the perfect jacket for riding. It is the perfect length to cover your hips, but not so long it bunches up where it hits the saddle. With no rib knit, velcro or fleece, it doesn't collect animal hair , burrs, or hay chaff. It ties behind the saddle compactly. I hope you keep making it unchanged. I will buy another when this wears out. Thank-you

        Warm and Tough

        By Byrdgrrl

        from Vermillion Cliffs, AZ

I wanted a jacket that was both warm and sturdy enough to hike through brush and climb rocks with out having to worry about ripping it. I have been very satisfied with this jacket on both accounts. Keeps me warm and even survived a condor bite no worse for the wear. I am also grateful for the chest pocket that the thoughtful designers included. I am able to keep my phone warm and close while working. A bit of feedback about the sleeves though. I by no means have long arms, but the sleeves seem to be rather short. When I reach for things or have to put my arms up they ride up, exposing my wrists. Maybe they shrunk some when I washed it? Otherwise would be pretty much a perfect jacket.

I love this jacket! It has kept me warm on cold, rainy, windy days. It has been in the 30's here. Jacket arrived just in time. None of my other jackets have been warm enough. Got tired of freezing. Very happy with this purchase and the magenta color. Would definately recommend this jacket for working outside or everyday rushing off to work. Very comfortable and lightweight. Could fit a small but ordered a medium for roominess and layering if needed. Fits perfectly.

I got his jacket for Christmas and have been wearing it since. It is surprisingly warm for such a light-weight, non-bulky jacket. I've been fine in this on windy days with temps around freezing. I like the big pockets, good-sized hood, and the ability to cinch up the hem (although I think it looks cuter--if colder--un-cinched). This jacket replaces my puffy down jacket, which was ripped to shreds walking through some sticker bushes--how annoying!!! I have higher hopes for this jacket, but haven't walked through the thicket in it yet. This is cute enough to wear to things in town, too--which increases its versatility. I got the grey color, and it is more of a true gray than the brownish grey that shows up on my computer. Recommended!

Before deep winter sets in, this is a wonderful jacket. Love its comfort, hood, pockets - and my husband loves the color. Only thing missing is the now-standard 2-way zipper. Hope new jackets come with this as a standard feature.

This is a very pretty and warm jacket. Just beware it is a much slimmer cut than other Duluth Jackets. For Instance I have an XL Grab jacket which fits comfortably with a heavy sweater under it. This XL jacket fits with just a turtle neck under it snuggly. Sleeves run a bit shorter than my grab jacket also.

The fit is flattering - but if you plan to layer - I would recommend ordering a size up, if you can ;) .

I am amazed at how light weight it is. The zipper works easily, every time, without problems. It is not as warm as I expected from the rating on the web page.

I was afraid this jacket would be too short or skimpy as it appeared in the catalog but it fits just right -- arms are nice and long and the FOM is terrific. I love all the extra pockets and the way the hood stays up when you need it to. Seems to be very durable too although I don't want to test that:-)
