I can wear this hat and have my own personal umbrella for sun or rain anywhere I go. Works well for gardening and for walking/hiking. Last week in a bit of a stiff breeze, the brim flew up, but the hat stayed on my head. I love feeling that my neck is protected in the back as well. The fact that it's packable, and at a good price, really makes this a winner.

I wanted a little extra shade to go with my "fit over" sunglasses, as well as protecting the top of my head, but wasn't worried about heavy-duty sun protection, so this seemed a stylish solution. The soft brim folds against a car's head rest without making the hat pop off or needing re-shaping when you get out of the car.

It does have one draw-back, however. My head measures just about "22", which is average range for women, and the hat comes down to the top of my ears. It's not too, too big, though. Maybe you could offer one of those stick-on terry cloth brow band liners to help size the hat or something? I'm not sure what women with "petite" heads would do, although I have seen full-circumference cloth hat band liners.

I was disappointed with this hat because the brim is too "rigid." When I tried to bend both sides of the brim so that it would provide protection from the sun, it bent easily but then just bounced right back to the original flat shape. (It would only protect from the sun if the sun is directly overhead. However, if the sun is coming at an angle, which is usually the case, I don't think the hat would not provide adequate protection.) I tried a number of times to bend the brim (and keep it bent down to protect my face) without success and decided to return it.
