I have the olive green and just bought the purple

About Me Landscaper

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Comfortable
  • Great Color
  • Great Fit
  • Quality Material

Cons

  • Knee pads pull the legs around to the side
  • Too long... add the 29" back as an option

Best Uses

  • Gardening

COMMENTS:

I love the fit except that they are too long. The straps are great. the snap pocket needs to be deeper too small to hold a phone. Reenforcement of the side pockets would be great. I did buy a second pair knowing they are too long but I will hem them. Not that I have the time to do that but I will. I have recommended them to friends with the caveat that they are not for short people... btw I am 5'6" with a short inseam...

bring back the older material

By md

from iowa

COMMENTS:

the material on the previous model of these overalls was much more lightweight and summer friendly. I wore these new bibs out to work yesterday and the material was HOT, HEAVY, and stuck to my skin. I couldn't wait to get inside and take them off. your previous model was super nice in summer weather. please bring back the cooler, lighter fabric for summer work.

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Great Color
  • Quality Material

Cons

  • No option for shorter inseam

Best Uses

  • Working outside

COMMENTS:

I have short legs so these are too long on me and drag on the ground. They look dorky if I roll them up using the snap to secure them because they come to just above my ankles...not quite short enough to look right. An option with a shorter inseam would be nice.

I love that the straps stay where you've adjusted them too without frequent tightening and they don't bind or cut into you when you bend over. These are VERY comfortable and all the pockets are great. I worry my clippers are going to poke a hole in one of them but so far, so good. My sister liked mine so much she ordered herself a pair.

Nice quality and functional for a gardener

Pros

Cons

  • Poor Quality

Best Uses

COMMENTS:

I was very happy to see these overalls. I have a very hard time finding good gardening pants for work. I find most of the work pants out there - the fabric is never a good quality or durable enough. IN this case, the ripstop fabric holds up nice after many washings (so far) and the quality of the straps is superior to the Rosies workwear overalls I have. My only complaint is that the pockets are not durable enough to hold my hori hori. The hori hori is as essential to a gardener as a pair of pruners (if not even more) and no pants every have a pocket long enough to carry them. I used the long side pocket which does actually fit the hori nicely, but after using it for 3 months now- I have a hole in the pocket from the hori knife. I would suggest reinforcing this pocket.

      COMMENTS:

Great fit, 5'6" 116 lbs extra small perfect fit, a little long but can hem up. Purchased knee pads, too. Wish Deluth had other colors, I wanted the purple, but they had only olive (army) green in my size.
