Great Gauntlets, Batman!

Pros

  • Flexible
  • Good Grip
  • Tough

Cons

    • Extreme Conditions

    COMMENTS:

These gloves met my expectations...and then some! I purchased them for doing yard work/pruning. The project that proved their worth was pruning a trifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata) ...think shrub rose bush on quadruple steroids or locust tree. Only once did the thorns lightly pierce thru the leather and I gave that bush plenty of opportunity. Not a single scratch on my forearms. These are the best gloves ever. Lovely soft feel. Flexible. Comfortable. Tough. My new Go-To gloves.

    COMMENTS:

I loved these gloves and found only one negative. The fingers are a bit long. Swear an XL, both my hands and fingers are quite long. I usually blow the fingertips out of my leather gloves within days of use. So while I am Happy it does not appear this will be a problem, it is a bit bothersome to have that bit of extra leather hanging off the end of my fingers. I keep my nails trimmed so as not to further damage gloves. Now I can let them grow so we will see if it gets better. Otherwise the fit is perfect on the hand and the grip is very good.

          COMMENTS:

Wore these for the first time and had bright yellow hands and nails. Unable to scrub or shower the color away. Contacted the company and they graciously and free of charge arranged an exchange. I still had to do the packing etc.

The arm covering could be longer. The fingertips wore out in less than a month of gardening. The idea is great; the application, not so!
