A Salute to the First
What’s now seen as fashion began years ago covered in grease. When Chambray’s tough, easy-wearing demeanor made it choice garb of the first women steelworkers during WWII. As a salute to our soot-covered, men’s-shirt-wielding pioneers, we packed the Chambray Free Range® Tunic with all the functional, women-specific details they would have wanted – like back gathers for restriction-free reaching, a Shirttail Shammy™ for de-greasing glasses, and functional pockets to stash more stuff. It has a softer side too, thanks to lightweight 100% organic cotton it fairs just as well on a night out as it does a garage deep-clean. Plus, we added princess seams for a flattering fit, and Bust-Proof Buttons to prevent gapping where you need it most. There was a better way to do chambray, and we knew we could do it. So we did!
