      COMMENTS:

I finally figured out why I tossed the first shirt I bought in this style. Usually in Duluth clothing, I wear an XS or sometimes a S. I had bought this shirt (in the plaid style) in size S and it appeared to fit OK. I never quite liked it though because the sleeves were always somewhat narrow feeling and the upper body also felt this way. The shirt would not stay tucked in if I wanted it to (I know it's made to be worn out) and just never felt quite right. I ended up ditching the shirt. I am not a big person at 5'7" 124 lbs, 34C and have a small frame. The largest top I own is a size S. I then read the review on line that somewhat suggested to size up so I ordered a S (again) and a M to compare. Once again, the S fit, but it was just not right, but the M was perfect! Correct amount of room to move and not sloppy looking even untucked. So, SIZE UP is my suggestion!

Flattering, comfy, but seams pucker after washing

      COMMENTS:

I was pleased at first, nice for hikes and layering over a tank. After washing the seams began puckering. By 3 washings later, length diminished almost an inch. Maybe thread used for stitching wasn't pre shrunk? After each wash, the puckers deepened. This, combined with the wrinkling issue results in what looks like a cheap old shirt that's seen better days. I wash according to directions and air fluff or drip dry...but then you need to iron. Didn't remove the puckering, so I steam ironed ( yes, I know directions say cool iron, but that doesn't work) - made them even worse!. The plaid shirt doesn't look as bad because the pattern disguises the puckering. On the solid colors they are obvious. I still like the shirt but use it only for hiking and chores...

Light and cool, but too small

      COMMENTS:

I have one the women's Armachillo shirts and one of the mens. The women's version is great for casual wear, but for work wear is too fitted and too short to stay tucked in. The smallest men's version is a Medium and is too big for me, but that works better than the small women's cut. I want this shirt to protect me from brush and ticks while working in the woods and training dogs. A shirt that comes untucked is a nuisance and invites ticks to crawl up underneath - no good!

Nice travel shirt, a little more neutral than the plaids

        COMMENTS:

This was one of the shirts I brought on a recent vacation. I agree with others that it tends to wrinkle in the dryer, but it drys quickly on a hanger without the wrinkles. I folded/rolled this in my suitcase and it takes up hardly any room and weighs next to nothing. There were some wrinkles when unfolded but it was still wearable. I just ordered a couple more for upcoming travel where I want to blend in. I own many of the Duluth button-down synthetic shirts and this is the only solid color. It's a little less "touristy" than the plaid ones.

        Runs VERY SMALL

        By Fat Junie

        COMMENTS:

I'm hanging onto this and will give it a try bc the Vintage Indigo color is just *gorgeous*. The fabric is much lighter weight than Dry on the Fly, so it might be nice in July/Aug. Concerned about the post-wash appearance based on other comments -- we'll see. But for sure this shirt runs SMALL. I'm normally an L or XL in a top, but I needed a 2X and there's no room to spare. Yikes.
