Worked great this winter

    COMMENTS:

I hesitated on buying these boots because I didn't trust that they'd be truly waterproof...but I've worn them all winter and they've been great. I take my dogs out every morning off in the woods & fields and while I don't ford rivers or deliberately step in puddles, I do encounter sloppy mud and wet grass. My feet have stayed dry & warm. They fit fine, I pair them with fairly lightweight Smart wool socks. I switch to snow boots when the snow is over a few inches so can't comment on that.

    Love these boots

    • Sole has no traction on slick surfaces

    COMMENTS:

I've used these for the past 2 or 3 years for work only when it was raining. I am a mail carrier who walks almost 10 miles per day on my route. They have been very good to me in keeping my feet dry. At first they were a little tight but they gradually stretched out to be very comfortable. I wear thick socks with them and don't have a problem with them being too tight. I just wish these shoes had a non slip sole. The ankle height is perfect for walking long distance and the stitching and construction of this boot is great.

Run Narrow Compared to other similar Ariats

    Cons

    • Poor FIt

    COMMENTS:

If you're used to buying Ariat Terrains, or similar Ariat boots, and find those to be wide enough, while other more traditional Ariat boots are too narrow, be aware that these are on the narrow side.

My feet fit great in a 7.5 Terrain or Terrain H2O. I've worn through at least half a dozen of those. I ordered 7.5 in these Camrose boots, and they are way too narrow. I'm going to have to send them back.

    COMMENTS:

I love these boots. I'm on my feet all day at work and barely notice thanks to these boots, I even walked around NYC for 8 hours straight and it barely felt like it! They're super comfortable, look great, durable, and have great traction in the snow; hardly even felt the cold with these on. Only complaint I'd have is prolonged wear they make my feet sweat.
