Very handy tool that hangs from your belt. I use almost every time I work in the yard, from planting flowers to pulling unwanted weeds to sawing off unwanted small branches on trees or shrubs.

      He LOVES It!

Comments about Gardening Knife - Japanese Hori Hori Knife:

My father's the gardener of the family, and I thought of him when I saw this in a recent DTC catalog. He's 88 and hard to buy for (buys what he wants; doesn't really need anything). He has RAVED about it ever since! Apparently, everything about it is perfect, and he uses it for all sorts of things in the yard. Thank you, DTC, for an inspired Fathers Day gift.

I just got this knife, and I have used it to dig, as a lever to dig, cut stubborn weeds & stalks. It is so tough, and really I just enjoy using it! I would highly recommend it for anyone who likes to dig in the garden!

I bought this for a friend who is a master gardener. She loved it at first sight.

Very useful for planting bedding plants as well as dividing various plants during the growing year.

Comments about Gardening Knife - Japanese Hori Hori Knife:

I use this knife for digging at roots and weeding. Is effective when cutting roots and planting small plants or bulbs. It is solid and has held up well. My only complaint, and it is a big one if you are a left handed person, is that it is completely designed for right handed people. It is awkward for a lefty or in tight spots. The curve of the blade works best in your right hand. The blade is only on one side therefore it can be difficult to get at angles.
