    COMMENTS:

These Black Hills pants exceeded my expectations. I needed a fall/winter pant for working outside and around the barn, would block wind and keep me comfortable in wet and cold weather but wasn't heavily insulated causing over heating. I bought the slim leg version because I wanted a pant that fit close around my work/paddock boots and did not let wind travel up my legs. Initially I wasn't sure about the smooth outside fabric finish but quickly found it repels moisture and mud does not stick, when it dries it easily brushes off. The brushed finish inside feels warm against my skin. This fabric is impressive. I discovered how tough when I slipped and landed on my knee on hard packed dirt/gravel, the fabric showed no sign of a tear or abrasion on the outside or inside. My knee however wasn't as lucky, it was scraped and bruised. I like the slight stretch in the fabric and wide waistband, these are really comfortable pants to work in and give you a trim look and fit when you head into town.

    COMMENTS:

Please don't your quality control slip like so many other merchants, Duluth! I ordered the pants with a 33" inseam and the tag states that measurement, but the pants are almost 2" shorter than that. I'm returning hoping the next pair come with the right inseam measurement.

    Too large

    By Jen

    COMMENTS:

I wanted to love these pants, but they are just too large. I am 5'1 and 105 lbs and wish these came smaller than a size 4. Please start making more pants for smaller women!

    Wrong length

    By K

    from OR

    COMMENTS:

I ordered size 6, inseam 33 and the pants were actually inseam 31. Called Customer Service for a correct length exchange and twice got inseam 31 when the pants were labeled as 33 and 35. Obviously a manufacturing error but I'm bummed because I need the longer length and like the pants but am unwilling to keep trying.

      COMMENTS:

I will buy another pair, but the 29"inseam seems a little less than it should be, hoping they come out with a 30" inseam soon
