These pants are terrific for all purpose useage.
They're flattering, lightweight, simple, yet classic. They are the one pant that I can hike all day in, then throw on a dressy top and blazer, and travel to dinner.

Recently my husband and I went on a long car trip and there was no uncomfortable "riding up" of these pants. Plus they had the added benefit of being able to keep long against the A/C in the car and then roll up when we were outside in the heat. Liked them so much I bought ones in the other color

I recently took a road trip and these pants were so comfortable for long days in the car. There was no uncomfortable "riding up" or continual need to "adjust". Plus the adjustable length was great for the heat outside the car and the increased air conditioning my husband required for inside the car.

Although I love most of my Duluth pants, these fell short of the mark for me. I really didn't like the clingy and stretchy way that the pants fit (especially through the upper half), or that the pockets are extremely small (compared to the fabulous practicality of all other Duluth womens shorts/pants). I carry my money and cards in a wallet instead of a purse, and it was too big to fit in the front pocket where it normally resides.
All in all, the fit reminded me of the dissatisfaction I find in 'department store' clothes - not made for someone who's not frilly.
On the other hand, they are extremely lightweight, and if the fit wasn't so tight, would be great for days when shorts are more appropriate but the legs are too hairy.

I bought these for travel because they are light weight and I anticipate being able to wash them out by hand if needed.

too hot even though it's sold as a pant to use in hot weather. material doesn't breathe at all and is so thin the stitching rips when you squat. I tried to use these to garden, but they're just not made for working.

I ordered these pants because I had other Duluth pants made from the same material which I loved. It's comfortable, breathes and washes up easily. but this design runs very small. The catalogue says order one size up, but I think you need to order 2 sizes up, and if you're curvy, these may be a hard fit at any size. I would recommend these to a smaller friend!
