Very well-made, but the denim is in its own size universe - much bigger than the canvas version. Why? Just weird!

As long as you know about the odd sizing, I'd recommend these.

I've never been so jazzed about a pair of shorts in my life! These shorts are as advertised, meaning they don't do any of the unpleasant things many other shorts do: they don't pinch at the waist and/or crotch when you sit down, they don't ride up between your thighs when you walk, they don't gape around the thighs, AND best of all they look flattering when you stand up straight and look in the mirror. I didn't have to go to a larger size and sacrifice looks to get a comfortable fit. A definite "thumbs up"!

I usually don't order clothing for myself from a catolog because I am very particular in the way my clothes feel and fit. These Women's No Frill Work Short are true to size, fit perfect (even in the waist) and they're comfortable.

I am a work at home Registered Nurse Case Manager. I pop on my shorts, grab my Jack Russel Terrier Ellie Mae, and we hit the street for our morning exercise. Once home, I sit at my computer and work. I can do that in these shorts. They don't ride up, bunch or pinch. I'm 57 years old now, comfort and performance are paramount. I can buy anything I want, and I bought these for my everyday, any time, walking, shopping, working, casual shorts. Luv 'em.

I love the waistband because it fits my curves...no gaps...extremely comfortable. The fabric feels soft yet durable. Well made and nice looking.

These shorts are comfortable and well made, but they run a bit large. I had to order one size smaller than normal and they still are on the roomy side. The denim fabric is a nice weight for summer.
