My son has the men's version of this vest. After repeatedly stealing his, I decided to order my own. I am right on the size line between a women's medium and a large. Ordered a large (way too big) then re-ordered a medium (the size I normally wear in Duluth women's shirts)and it fit perfectly. I can layer long underwear, shirt and sweatshirt under this and stay very warm. The vest is really warm without being bulky. I ride horses and cannot stand anything that restricts my movement. I wear this vest to ride, clean stalls, feed, etc. and love it in all situations. Can't say enough good things about this vest.

I ordered this because I am helping in a machine shop and needed something that didn't have flaps and velcro and loose pockets to catch on things. I also needed extra core warmth and a fabric that shakes off sawdust and metal filings. This vest fits me well (a medium on a size-12 frame) and is definitely dirt-and-dust resistant. Love the rust color. It is not quite as warm as I wanted (the length helps though), and the zipper doesn't start smoothly. But overall a winner.

A form fitting look is great in evening wear, but in outdoor hiking gear, not so much! This vest has pinched waist and darts for chesty, ample-chested women. Not a good look for petites like myself.

We keep our house cool in winter -- 60-65 degrees -- and this vest is the perfect addition over a sweater to warm my back, shoulders, and neck during inactivity.
Outside, I wear it under a windbreaker or heavier jacket or coat, and it is very warm.
This is my second one -- I already had one in brick and liked it very much -- I always wanted one in blue and was pleased when it was on sale.
This one DOES have a slight flaw, unfortunately: There's a slight bend in the straight metal-piece that inserts into the zipper-pull, so it's more difficult to get the zipper started.

When I saw this vest I hoped it would fit. I checked out the sizing chart and ordered. I am completly thrilled that the sizing chart and the vest are right on. The cut is very feminine and stylish and durable. So happy, I have ordered a second one.

I wear this while cleaning out fence rows. Since it's a vest and not a jacket, the briars would penetrate my shirt under my vest, but the vest worked so well, I bought the jacket too.

I've wanted this vest since I first saw it in a catalog in 2007. Now I own one and love it as much as I thought I would. The brick is beautiful and an all around good color. It's warm and comfortable. Especially like the 2-way zip and great quality lining. It took me a couple trys to figure out how to engage the zipper but after that it worked perfectly. The small fits a little large but is perfect to wear over sweatshirts and not too big to wear over lighter clothing. I love the style. Vests usually fit a little odd on me but I'm really pleased with this one. I'm ordering another one today before Duluth runs out of smalls like they did on the parkas.

This vest delighted me the moment I took it out of the package: the navy color, deeper and richer than it looked online; styling classic, tailored and attractive; fit and finish, perfect. I especially appreciate the deep, fleece lined side pockets; two decent sized, zippered inside pockets, and another inside, smaller, cell phone pocket with a velcro closure.
