This vest is warm - but not outerwear warm. It's the perfect top layer indoors or in mild cool weather, or middle layer outside in the cold.

The colors are very pretty and current. I got the lavendar and am going back for more.

And ... it washes and dries by machine and looks like new!

I bought this for my mother, who prepares a banquet hall for the next big shindig. The hall is typically kept at 50 degrees when not in use. Mother used to wear multiple sweatshirts and a jacket to keep warm. Wearing this fleece vest, she is able to cut down several layers and bulk, which helps her move around more easily while staying comfortable. She says it is warm and soft.

This is the perfect companion to wear with the Duluth mock neck tee, while I work as a waste-water laboratory analyst/operator, if I am in the lab working or out about the plant in the cold this is a great second layer.

I love these vests. I live in a 100-year-old house that's a bit drafty, and I sit near an air vent at work which puts out cooler air in the winter than in the summer. I wear them almost daily.

I spent Thanksgiving week in a cabin in the Missouri Ozarks and truly wore one of the vests every day. They are splendid.
