Love these gloves. Have purchased them as Christmas gifts for the other gardeners in my family.

Comments about Women's Gauntlet Gardening Gloves:
These are probably good for a little digging in the garden for the average woman gardener. I loved how they fit and they had great cushioning on the grip. But, I was using them for hauling firewood and building a woodshed. The fingertips wore right through in less than a day! Very thin leather on the fingertips!

I bought these gloves after getting into a patch of stinging nettles and vowing never to go there again without protection. They are perfect for reaching into areas with unknown or potentially harmful plants.

Comments about Women's Gauntlet Gardening Gloves:
I use these on a daily basis doing horse chores. I pull hay from large round bales to check it and also handle square bales. Hay sometimes contains grasses that I am allergic to and these gloves make a tremendous difference. They allow me to work without pulling gloves off when I need greater dexterity. Working with ropes and leather lines this is an important feature so my hands are protected. I always wore goatskin gloves when I could get them and am thrilled to find these.I no longer have itchy or red spots on my wrists or hands from allergens being trapped there. My hands are also softening up.If I get them wet I just squeeze the water out and apply leather conditioner like hand lotion while wearing them, let them dry and they are like new again

Comments about Women's Gauntlet Gardening Gloves:
They were great the first year of removing blackberries from the property. Halfway through the spring the right hand thumb started to thin out. Now there is a large hole. Seams have torn on the other fingers. Guess the blackberries were too much for them. I still would recommend them, but suggest trading off for general yard work, saving them for the thorny bushes only.

Seam at base of thumb opened up after first week of use. Index finger had a hole after 3 weeks of use. Sent back for exchange to see how they do a second time.

Comments about Women's Gauntlet Gardening Gloves:
I am a gardener and a carpenter, and am always looking for good, durable, well fitting gloves. I loved these from the moment they arrived. Very soft, very comfortable, yet they have held up to my rigorous gardening regime. The longer gauntlet is perfect for working around plants that can do serious damage, without the bulk of a full gauntlet. The padding on the palms initially seemd like overkill, but I quickly got used to it. The fit is perfect (I wear a large), snug enough that I never have to take them off to pick something up, but not so tight they're uncomfortable. I believe they are going to hold up well, and will certainly continue to buy them if they do. Well done, Duluth!

Comments about Women's Gauntlet Gardening Gloves:
I go through a few pairs of work gloves every season. I'm always looking for good-quality, hard-working gloves that can handle big jobs. Since I just got these gloves I can't review their durability, however, they have a really good feel and look as though they will handle rugged work. As for fit, I have a size 8 hand - large for a woman - and I ordered one pair of gloves in large and the other pair in extra-large. I found the extra-large to be just right for me.

Comments about Women's Gauntlet Gardening Gloves:
I hadn't planned on using these gloves till spring but the utility company had other plans when they dug up my rose garden in January to replace a gas line. Muddy and cold but no way was I going to trash 10 rose bushes. While its not easy to landscape in the winter my garden gloves hung in there with me and my roses are "tucked away" till spring. These gloves are comfortable and durable and I am looking forward to using them in the spring.

I was apprehensive when I saw these, because I really needed gloves for those thorny weeds. I was amazed! I was able to pull them without any of them puncturing my hand!
