They use, abuse and improve our products for you

Sure, they look nice and clean in their photos. But most of the time, the hardworking women on the Duluth Test Panel are covered in dirt, sawdust, paint and animal hair. Experts in their respective fields, they know which products work on the job and which can't cut it.

And they're the first to tell us if a Duluth product isn't up the standards their jobs demand. Because we give them prototypes to use and abuse months in advance, we're able to apply their practical suggestions to many of our products. From pockets and buttons to fabric and sizing, they help us make sure the goods that end up in your hands are real-world useful and built to last. Not many companies take the time to solicit feedback before developing actual products ? but it's just one more way we keep it real.

Veterinary Surgeon

"I love my work. And I love my family, both two-legged and four-legged," says Liz, a Test Panel member since 2009. She says her best trip ever was a safari in Zimbabwe and Botswana last year ? "wearing Duluth clothes!" As for her favorite Duluth products: "Love the jeans and turtlenecks, and all the gadgets are great."

Dean of Students

As the oldest of seven kids, Lori is a natural nurturer, which makes her job as Dean of Students a perfect fit. Heidi hopes that her "passion for farming, children and teaching can someday grow into a program that brings inner city children to the farm for a day …to learn about country life, animals and where their food comes from."
